i saw a beatles thread was started about favorite songs- so i thought i'd start several threads on other groups who were very important in rock and rolls development !
here are my favorites from led zeppelin, kind of in order.. .

LZIII - Every song on the album. I had my first serious "make out" session to side 2 playing over and over at the age of 16 with a great gal from my high school french class in her bedroom with her "liberal" parents down stairs!! I fell in love with her to "Since I've been Loving You"
From later years - In My Time of Dying. definitive LZ song along wish Kashmir.

i just came back from a 12 day carribean cruise and visited the islands of grenada, saint lucia, barbados,and 4 other islands.
the temperature was around 90 degrees every day.
it is that warm all year round for them.. all around the street markets and shopping areas we saw jehovah's witnesses street witnessing .
Actually its all those self-righteous who go on "service" holidays - called "its great to go where there is no need" Ones who go to Mexico for months on end and bring back some trumped up "love from a local congregation".

tresdecu: I will try - it is harder now, but it is amazing how many of the elders on the BOE are quick to "share" stuff they should not. There are a couple who are very indifferent right now and are reaching much the same conclusions as me - I can tap them. However, I cut a close tack to the wind and not reveal my most inner feelings. With the years as an elder - I learned "doublespeak" the universal language that all elders understand.

Blondie: Call from COBE in another cong. that started blethering on before I could tell him I was no longer serving. Then he continues to tell me stuff anyway..... Its localized, but involves several states/provinces.
I heard that there is a major purge going on BOE's/CO's/DO's all over dealing investigatively with 100's and many JC's underway. Sure glad I am not an elder anymore - I have no time for this s**t. Plus after almost a year from stepping aside i have just nageged in the last few months to enjoy a good night's sleep!
